35° Angled Nylon Grommet for stairs. Two Piece, Silver

Used for protecting aluminium or steel posts against chafing or electrolysis with stainless balustrade wire. Installation for angled grommets requires a 9.5mm hole. Drill the hole into the post at 90° first, then with the drill still running, tilt the drill toward the angle of the stairs. This will 'scallop' out the top and bottom of the hole making it oval-shaped. After the wire is installed through the post, assemble the two-piece grommet around the wire and push into the oval-shaped hole.
